Hello,
So we've noticed since yesterday our local/internal backup to another box has been failing for one of the VM's.
We have 2 VM's on this box, one of them backs up fine however, when it gets to the second it spits out;

Can you check log files such as /vmfs/volumes/datastore/vm/vmware.log
which may have some information about the failure? This can also be fixed by consolidate the snapshot for that vm in vSphere Client.

Thanks @gchen.
Looks like consolidating the snapshots within Esx worked a treat!
